| Have you ever met a person who had energy pouring out of their fingers? I am serious. These people have learned how to channel their energies and the energy that they receive from the Spirit into a special type of “touch” healing energy. I know that in the fifties it was common to see spiritual healers on television on Sunday shows transferring power to people standing in a line before them and pronouncing them healed. Sometimes it looked more like a circus show than a spiritual healing and many times it was just that. Spiritual healing though is not like that. The healing power of the Christ White Light can come from the Spirit and be dispensed through your hands to the patient below. I have seen it and experienced it and even done it myself.
In a room with the energy healer and the patient you can almost feel the energy in the air. The healer will commune with the Spirit silently; asking for his energy to be sent down through the body into the patient for healing. The healer does not heal the person; the Spirit does. This is much the way that Jesus and other people over the ages have healed patients. This wonderful energy can be felt in the healer’s hands. When he holds his hands just above the patient’s body or right on the spot that needs healing, the transfer will begin. The patient will feel at first a warm infusion of heat into the body. Some time along the healing process, the heat will change to an energy feeling. At the end of the transfer, the healer needs to recharge before seeing another person. The patient can enjoy the healing transfer of energy. Both the healer and the patient must acknowledge the power of the Spirit. It is all too often that the healer becomes caught up in the tiny miracles that happen and begins to think that he/she is actually doing the healing on his/her own. Without the Spirit, the healing would never happen. The healer is just a device; a vessel.
Spiritual healing is a process that has been going on as long as life has been being lived. Although Jesus is the most well known psychic healer, he was not and is not the only one in history. If you are unsure about spiritual or energy healing, I suggest that you try a little experiment.
Hold your hands out in front of you palms up. I am sure they look like any other set of normal hands. Rub them together several times. Now, hold your hands in a parallel manner in front of you with your fingers facing each other. Do not let your fingers touch; leave them about ½ inch apart. Can you feel the energy between them? Another experiment is to hold one palm above the other. You can feel the energy as the palms try to push each other away. It is positive energy flowing through your body; your energy. Can you imagine if you devoted your entire live to channeling the energy of the Spirit from above and used it? You would be able to feel this wonderful positive energy as it leaves your body.
Therapeutic Touch is being taught in nursing school. For years it was ignored but the validity of having a person’s touch help to heal has been proven in many big hospitals and clinics such as Mayo and Johns Hopkins. Nurses are not told to pray for their energy or asked to consult the Spirit but most of them will readily tell you that this is where the energy that is needed comes from. They are taught, though, to place their hands on the patient’s shoulders or the crown of their head during surgeries or medical procedures that are usually hard on the body. They may not say that it is the extra energy being transferred from nurse to patient but it is. The energy helps to boost the body’s immune system and makes the recovery time much shorter than normal.
